Five minutes after the doors opened at 11:00 Sunday morning, the three bartenders at the Bellwether Cocktail Bar & Kitchen were busy building drinks for the people standing in line.
They worked with practiced speed and efficiency — no flashy Tom Cruise Cocktail moves. After all, the crowd was thirsty and it was the day of the bar’s weekly Boozy Brunch Bingo event.
Bellwether, located on Summit Street, is the crafting and tasting area for cocktails made with Toledo Spirits liquor. Its menu features such exotica as a bloody Mary made with pepperoni vodka, an orange tiger mimosa, and an old fashioned concocted with bourbon that has been “fat washed” with bacon…
