KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – More than 1,200 graduates filled Hy-Vee Arena Sunday as UMKC held its mid-year commencement ceremonies at 10 a.m. and 3 p.m.
Students turned their tassels and celebrated years of hard work during the graduation ceremonies. For many graduates, the walk across the stage represented more than just receiving a diploma.
