From Childhood Need To A Movement
Since 2016, the I Owe Youth Foundation has donated over 100 free prom dresses and tuxes to Milwaukee youth to meet a need Founder Jessica Johnson once had herself. Johnson said she’s been on her own since a young age, and she always had dreams of attending prom. When it came time to get her attire, she was helped by a woman who paid for everything. Johnson never forgot that kindness, and now she’s giving back in the same way.
Each year, Johnson’s nonprofit hosts an annual prom drive for Milwaukee youth to receive free prom attire.
