HAYWOOD COUNTY, N.C. (WSPA) — One person has been hospitalized following a shooting involving deputies in Western North Carolina.
The Haywood County Sheriff’s Office responded to a domestic disturbance on Old Clyde Road Sunday around 5:45 p.m. During the incident, it was reported that the suspect attacked a deputy, prompting the deputy to discharge their weapon, striking the individual.
