Man sentenced in mobile home park shooting

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — A man accused of a shooting that wounded another man at a mobile home park in Bakersfield was sentenced last week.

Kody Ellis received an eight-year prison term in the Aug. 25 shooting at Superior Mobile Home Park on State Road. He pleaded no contest to assault with a gun, and other charges, including attempted murder, were dismissed.
