A Christian County Grand Jury has returned several indictments that contain serous charges, including two individuals charged with murder.
Forty-three-year-old Douglas Jones Jr. of Hopkinsville has been indicted on the charges of murder, first-degree wanton endangerment and first-offense DUI with aggravator, in connection with a fatal wreck that occurred on Lovers Lane on October 25. Jones’ vehicle reportedly went off the roadway and struck another vehicle head-on, which was parked in a driveway. That collision resulted in the death of 77-year-old William “Ide” Bouldin and injured another victim.
Results from the Kentucky State Police Crime Laboratory allegedly reportedly revealed that Jones’ blood alcohol content was roughly three times the legal limit when the collision occurred…
