A 35-year-old man, identified as Craig Gaines, tragically lost his life following a shooting incident in Western Hills, Cincinnati, according to the Cincinnati Police Department. The shooting took place on Friday afternoon, around 1:17 p.m. on the 2300 block of Ferguson Road, Fox19 reported. Police received the call and promptly responded to the scene, where they discovered Mr. Gaines with a gunshot wound.
Emergency responders quickly moved to transport Gaines to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center. However, the victim was pronounced dead during the journey to the hospital, Fox19 noted. No suspects have been identified in what the police are investigating as a homicide, and, therefore, an appeal to the public has been made, urging anyone with information to come forward.
