COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) – Officials have identified a man killed after a shooting over the weekend in northeast Columbia.
Richland County Coroner Nadia Rutherford said 30-year-old Brian Barrett died late Saturday after the incident on the 800 block of Polo Road.
The suspect in the shooting, 44-year-old Charles McCants, was arrested Sunday. He’s charged with murder as well as weapon-related counts, according to the Richland County Sheriff’s Department.
