WARREN COUNTY, OH — Always, this time of year, home decorators are looking to make your tree “stand out” and make it a focal point in your home. At one time as a model, I spent a lot of hours in many big name department stores and have seen some of the most imaginative and creative Christmas trees ever designed.
Some of these ideas are ones I have seen and done on my trees so hope they will spark a few ideas for you! (If too late for this year, never to early to start thinking about next year!)
The TOTAL Theme Tree
- Green Tree ( fresh or artificial)
- 100 +Lights ( Use white to unify but blue or any solid color also work)
- WIRED Ribbon: for most trees you will need 2 reels of this
- Assorted Silk Poinsettias: This can be in 1 or two colors. Pick ones which will GO with your ribbon color. Get them LARGE.
- Colored Ornament Balls: Pick these in your theme color or a color in your ribbon.
- OPTION: Collectible ornaments :a few to go with your theme: Angels, Santa Claus or whatever your theme.
** Buy Large plastic boxes to store all these trim elements for next year. This facilitates being able to reproduce this tree NEXT year…
