EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) – Investigators have arrested a man in connection with an apartment fire that injured four people in October 2024.
Benjamin Barnes was arrested following a year-long investigation into the fire at Ingle Terrace Apartments. Fire crews reported four people living in a second-floor apartment were hurt in the blaze.
The investigation revealed Barnes was at the apartment the night of the fire but had left before crews arrived. Barnes denies starting the fire…
