Man in non-life-threatening condition after stabbing north of downtown

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) — Officers with the Fort Wayne Police Department responded to a home north of downtown Fort Wayne on reports of a stabbing Sunday evening.

A call came in around 4:45 p.m. with reports of a stabbing in the 400 block of Archer Avenue, near Wells Street. When officers arrived on the scene, they found the man lying on the street with lacerations on his face and neck.

He initially was determined to be in serious condition, but after being treated at the hospital, he is in a non-life-threatening condition…
