Warsaw Man Arrested for Cocaine Possession

COLUMBIA CITY – A Warsaw man has been arrested for possession of cocaine, marijuana, and paraphernalia.

Jack Allen Bocook, 41, 2580 Belmont Drive, Warsaw, is charged with possession of cocaine, a level 6 felony; possession of a controlled substance, a class A misdemeanor; possession of marijuana, a class B misdemeanor; and possession of paraphernalia, a class C misdemeanor.

On Nov. 28, Columbia City Police officers conducted a business check at a hotel and approached a black vehicle. While approaching the vehicle, they observed a pink bag labeled THC gummies.

According to court documents, officers knocked on the room number that was given to them by the front desk and heard running water from inside the room. A man, identified as Bocook, opened the door. Officers asked if the vehicle belonged to Bocook, to which he replied that it belonged to his father. When asked if he drove or had access to the vehicle, Bocook stated he did not. He explained to officers that his father dropped him off at the hotel, took the keys to the vehicle, and left with another family member.
