MEMPHIS, Tenn. – A 16-year-old boy was arrested after he allegedly shot his older adult brother during a fight over food late Sunday night in East Memphis, police said.
According to the Memphis Police Department (MPD), officers were called just before midnight for a domestic assault at the Legacy of Lynnfield Apartments near St. Francis Hospital. The brothers’ dad told officers that his sons were fighting over food and he later heard a gunshot.
The father said the 16-year-old shot his brother because “he ate his food up.”…
