Morning fire displaces 4 from Clay home

Clay, N.Y. — A house fire damaged a home early Monday morning and displaced four people in Clay, firefighters said.

Around 6:35 a.m., firefighters responded to a reported house fire at 8178 Mantova Drive and found smoke and heavy flames coming from a second-floor front bedroom, according to Deputy Chief Mark Procopio of the Clay Fire Department.

Four people were able to get out of the home on their own before firefighters arrived. No injuries to people or animals were reported…
