PennDOT maintenance crews will conduct bridge repairs, crack sealing and other road work across Lehigh County starting Monday, Dec. 22, with multiple projects creating lane restrictions through Friday, Dec. 27.
Nighttime pothole patching on Interstate 78 will affect both directions between Exit 49 at Route 100 and the Northampton County line. The work spans Upper Macungie, South Whitehall, Salisbury and Upper Saucon municipalities. Lane restrictions will be in place from 8 p.m. to midnight on Dec. 22 through Dec. 25 and again on Dec. 26 through Dec. 27.
Bridge repair work is scheduled on Limeport Pike in Upper Saucon Township between Spinnerstown Road and Elementary Road from Dec. 22 through Dec. 23. The work will create daytime lane restrictions from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. In Lynn Township, bridge repairs on Route 309 between Memorial Road and Mountain Road will occur on Dec. 24 and Dec. 26, with lane restrictions and flagging during the same daytime hours…
