The FBI believes Emerson was the victim of foul play. It is unusual of him to not contact his family for this long.
In 2020, the Snyder Police Department announced an Anonymous Tip Line was created to find any additional information about Emerson.
“We need the community’s help to return David Emerson Jr. home to his family,” the police department said on social media in 2020. “In the past, numerous people with possible information related to Emerson’s disappearance were reluctant provide information, due to being unable to report anonymously.”
