Search Underway for Suspect in Bus Shooting in Marine Villa, St. Louis Police Urge Public’s Help

An argument on a Metro bus in Marine Villa escalated into gunfire leaving one man critically injured on a Sunday evening, authorities are now on the hunt for the shooter, urging the public to come forward with information. The St. Louis Metropolitan Police reported that the incident took place at approximately 9 p.m. near the intersection of Chippewa & South Broadway Streets where the 32-year-old victim was found with gunshot wounds, he was subsequently taken to a hospital where he remains in critical but stable condition.

Details surrounding the confrontation remain scarce, however, with SLMPD’s preliminary investigation indicating that the dispute broke out between the victim and an unidentified male which then culminated in the shooting, after the shooting, the suspect fled the scene, and no other passengers were injured during the incident.
