Suspects Offered Money and Candy to Lure Children
According to police, the two suspects approached children who were walking in the area and attempted to lure them inside the van. One suspect reportedly held a piece of paper displaying an unknown amount of money and asked a child if they wanted cash. The second suspect allegedly offered candy from inside the van, a tactic authorities say is commonly used in attempted child abduction scenarios.
