One of Colorado’s great concert venues will be hosting one of the 90s’ greatest rock bands for a two-night stand. Fans from Denver and beyond will be heading “up the hill” to catch one, or both, of these shows in Estes Park.
Was Everclear Among the ‘Big Hitters’ of Alternative Rock in the 90s?
Many will say, that of all the great alternative rock bands of the 1990s, that Everclear is one of the bands that doesn’t get enough recognition. 2025 marked the 30th anniversary of their album “Sparkle and Fade,” with the hit, ‘Santa Monica’ captivating fans across the world. Their only Top 40 hit, ‘Wonderful,’ came out in 2000 reaching #11 on the Hot 100. Fans of the band will mention hits such as, ‘Everything to Everyone,’ ‘Heartspark Dollarsign,’ and ‘Heroin Girl,’ being among their favorites.
Three decades and 11 albums after Everclear coming together, Art Alexakis and the current members of the band still bring the band’s enduring legacy out to the fans when on tour. It must be fun to see new generations of fans mixing among the longtime fans when the band takes the stage, like they will when they come to Colorado in early 2025.
