SALT LAKE CITY, Utah, Dec. 22, 2025 (Gephardt Daily) — Hogle Zoo’s unofficial ambassador, 6-month-old Bornean orangutan Weila, is celebrating her first half-birthday.
“Six months of Weila. Can you even!,” asked a social media post from the Zoo.
“From mastering mashed foods to building confidence on the ropes, Weila is hitting some exciting milestones. She’s getting better at eating mashed solids, and has some strong opinions: yams and bananas are top-tier favorites, carrots just made the approved list, and strawberries, butternut squash, and broccoli are a hard no.”…
