EUGENE, Ore. — Gasoline prices in Eugene have seen a slight increase of 2.7 cents per gallon over the past week, now averaging $3.23 per gallon, according to GasBuddy’s survey of 78 stations in the area. Despite this rise, prices remain 29.2 cents per gallon lower than a month ago and are 1 cent per gallon lower than the same time last year.
The national average price of gasoline has decreased by 5.7 cents per gallon in the last week, now averaging $2.79 per gallon. This marks a 26.4-cent drop from a month ago and a 21.4-cent decrease from a year ago, based on data from over 150,000 gas stations nationwide.
