A flock of chickens was rescued by Pierce County Sheriff’s Office (PCSO) deputies last month after they were dumped on a roadway near Tumwater.
Deputies arrived at the scene near Tilley Road, where several chickens were making a “very vocal traffic hazard,” PCSO Sheriff Sanders announced.
Deputies began to corral the chickens and reached out to Dutchman Family Farm for assistance…
