Seacoast Church opens warming center as temperatures set to drop on Monday night

SUMMERVILLE, S.C. (WCIV) — Due to the forecasted temperatures expected to drop Monday night, Seacoast Church is opening the doors to their Warming Center, providing shelter for members of the community living without adequate heat.

Guests at the warming center will have the opportunity to take a hot shower, eat a warm dinner and sleep in a heated environment. A cot with linens and a pillow will be provided, and Tuesday morning guests utilizing the center will be served a takeaway breakfast.

Men, women and families are all welcome and pets will be housed in a warm location with Sheltered Paws, a non-profit started by one of Seacoast’s very own…
