A Hopkinsville man was charged with assaulting his girlfriend while she was holding a child on Glass Avenue in Hopkinsville Thursday night.
Hopkinsville Police say 26-year-old Mikal Yandal hit his girlfriend in the face, choked her, held a knife to her throat, and hit her while she was holding a child, resulting in the child being hit, then he took her phone.
When he was located, he reportedly fled on foot and was found to have 19 grams of marijuana. Police say he had also damaged a window and a door frame…
