Former Ohio State QB enters the Transfer Portal for the second time

The Ohio State football program likes to bring in a quarterback for every recruiting class. Under Ryan Day, that has been one of his goals since becoming a head coach. Usually, he’s been able to achieve that goal without too many issues, even if he ends up grabbing a transfer quarterback.

Back in the 2024 recruiting class, the Buckeyes brought in lefty quarterback Air Noland as their QB in that recruiting class. He was rated as the seventh-best quarterback in the country. He was expected to possibly compete for the starting quarterback position this season.

Right after he signed, the Buckeyes added Julian Sayin and Will Howard from the Transfer Portal. Howard led the Ohio State Buckeyes to a national championship. Sayin has a shot to do that this year. Meanwhile, Noland is now looking for his third team in as many seasons.

After last season, Noland entered the portal and decided to head to South Carolina. He sat behind LaNorris Sellers this year, who has now decided to return for next season. Because of that, Noland has decided to enter the Transfer Portal yet again…
