FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WFFT) — Drivers in northeast Indiana are experiencing lower fuel costs as the year-end travel approaches. Fort Wayne’s average gas price is below $3 a gallon despite increasing holiday traffic.
On Monday, AAA reported the average price for regular gasoline in Fort Wayne at $2.841 a gallon. This is a decrease from $3.186 a year ago but an increase from $2.643 a week ago.
In Indiana, the statewide average for regular gas was $2.764 a gallon. This is about 34 cents cheaper than a year ago and roughly 16 cents below where it stood a month ago…
