FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) – We’ve started the week on a ‘sleepy’ note as far as weather patterns are concerned, though I can’t promise it will be that way by this time next week!
Some light rain/drizzle is likely tonight with lows settling into the upper 30s. Tuesday and Wednesday will both be on the cloudy side and relatively mild with highs in the 40s.
The Christmas Day temperature forecast has changed significantly due to one primary factor: the advancing warm front’s northward progress. Forecast models were insistent that the front would make it all the way into southern Michigan Christmas Day and the day after, which would have put us close to record highs. However, latest data suggests the warm front may stall out across central or southern Indiana, keeping temperatures in our neck of the woods much cooler (likely 40s)…
