DECATUR, Ala. — Tory Bruno, the longtime CEO of United Launch Alliance who recently toured the company’s rocket manufacturing facility in Decatur, has resigned after nearly 12 years leading the aerospace company.
John Elbon will serve as interim CEO effective immediately, according to a joint statement Monday from ULA board chairs Robert Lightfoot of Lockheed Martin and Kay Sears of Boeing, two companies that partnered to create ULA.
