KALAMAZOO, Mich. — A Kalamazoo-area lash and eyebrow salon remains closed just days before Christmas after a car crashed through the front of the business, leaving its owner facing unexpected damage during one of the busiest times of the year.
Phuong Le, the owner of Lash and Brow Escape, says the crash happened Saturday while customers and employees were inside. One of those customers, Autumn Cornett, was in the middle of getting her eyelashes done when the car struck the building.
“All of a sudden we heard wheels and tires revving, and then just crashes and noises,” Cornett said. “My lash tech screamed ‘run,’ and my eyes were taped. I had to pray I was running in the right direction.”…
