Police warn parents of underage drinking dangers after teen seriously hurt at party

Penfield, N.Y. (WHAM) — A woman is facing multiple charges after police say she hosted a large underage drinking party that left one teenager hospitalized with life-threatening injuries.

The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office said deputies were called to a home in Penfield on Halloween night after receiving reports of a 17-year-old boy who was unconscious after falling. Investigators say the teen had been drinking alcohol and smoking marijuana before hitting his head.

Neighbors off-camera confirmed the incident happened on Redwood Drive, but the sheriff’s office would not give an address for the incident…
