Sacramento Police Seize Loaded Gun, Fentanyl, and Meth During Traffic Stop, Two Arrested

Earlier this month, a routine traffic stop in Sacramento’s 4000 block of Norwood Avenue led to a significant find for the city’s police force. The Sacramento Police Department announced on social media that their North Problem-Oriented Policing (NPOP) officers, upon discovering one of the car’s occupants on probation, conducted a vehicle search that yielded a loaded handgun, fentanyl, methamphetamines, and Xanax pills.

During the December 4 operation, 34-year-old Jordan Doig of Galt was arrested on charges related to firearm possession and narcotics sales while 40-year-old Angel Garcia of Sacramento was detained for charges related to narcotics sales, this revelation is just the latest in what the department regards as stellar police work by their officers, the commitment is clear in the recent proactive steps taken in addressing crime in the community…
