(FOX 5/KUSI) — One person has been found dead after the hours-long police response to a mental health-related call in Normal Heights, authorities said.
According to the San Diego Police Department, officers were responding to a call for service and checking in on someone at their home in the 4400 block of 40th Street when they heard a gunshot. The incident happened shortly before 3:45 p.m.
