AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) — The Amarillo Police Department is warning of a scam that has circulated this week for online coupons for local chain restaurants.
APD said it has recently seen online coupons circulating for local chain steakhouses claiming to off free adult dinners for a 30th or 50th anniversary.

According to APD, the link for the coupon will direct a person to a quiz or webpage not affiliated with the restaurant. Officials said the scam may collect personal information and may even ask for credit card or banking details.
