A fire broke out at Katy Mills Mall around 2:20 p.m. in the food court, leading to an evacuation and closing parts of the mall. Firefighters quickly responded and worked to contain the fire. Shopper Laura Bolding said, “We were shopping and then all of a sudden the fire alarm went off and we’re like, ‘Okay, what do we do,’” according to Click2Houston.
