LAFAYETTE, La. (KLFY) — Marlene St. Julien, a 70-year-old disabled veteran and her sister Tracy Johnston have been without running water for two weeks.

The sisters have spent thousands of dollars on various plumbers as they seek to address their worsening water situation. Initially starting with low water pressure, their problem escalated to complete loss of hot water and eventually all running water, severely impacting their daily lives.
