ROCKFORD — Village Green Home & Garden will have its last shopping day on Tuesday as the longtime local business prepares to sell to another family-run nursery.
The locally owned business, which marked 60 years in the community in 2025, will turn its flagship location at 6101 E. Riverside Blvd. over to Platt Hill Nursery. That family run garden center and nursery also has locations in Bloomingdale and Carpentersille.
