Appeals court upholds conviction in St. Louis teacher’s murder

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) – The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit has upheld the murder conviction in the death of a City of St. Louis teacher.

Last year, Phillip J. Cutler was found guilty on charges of conspiracy to murder for hire and murder for hire in Jocelyn Peters’ death.

Peters, who was a teacher at Mann Elementary, was killed on March 24, 2016. She was 27 weeks pregnant at the time of the murder…
