Car flips after slamming into two homes in Southeast DC; driver charged with DUI

WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — A car rammed into two homes in Washington, D.C., before flipping over on Sunday night, causing severe damage just days before Christmas.

The collision happened in the 5400 block of Central Ave SE in the Marshall Heights area.

In a post on X, just before 11 p.m. on Dec. 21, the DC Fire and EMS Department (DCFD) said that the car overturned after crashing into the two homes.

Once on the scene, firefighters located the car, which had flipped onto its hood, on the front lawn.
