BOULDER, Colo. — The trial of a man charged in connection with a 2006 homicide ended in a mistrial Monday, Boulder County prosecutors said.
John Angerer, 53, was arrested in March 2023 in Anchorage, Alaska, on a charge of second-degree murder in connection with the 2006 death of Angela Wilds. Wilds’ body was found in South St. Vrain Canyon outside of Lyons on June 4, 2006.
Angerer had previously been arrested in connection with Wilds’ death, in 2010, but a judge then found there wasn’t enough probable cause to more forward to a trial.
