DETROIT, Ore. — The storms that battered the Pacific Northwest last week left many areas reeling, particularly the town of Detroit in Marion County. The city has been under a state of emergency since last week.
According to a damage inspection report from the Oregon State Fire Marshal’s office, the storm damaged dozens of buildings; with 12 structures destroyed, 18 sustaining major damage and 47 with minor damage.
