HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – City crews are working to stop a sewer spill involving a failed 14-inch gravity sewer line beneath Nimitz Highway near Iwilei.
The spill was reported to the city Department of Environmental Services (ENV) just before 10:30 a.m. Monday near the Awa Street Pump Station.
Officials say discharge is entering Nuuanu Stream. The spill is ongoing and the total volume has not yet been determined…
