FHP: Woman dead, 2 men injured after crash involving PSTA bus that turned at a red light

PINELLAS COUNTY, Fla. — A woman is dead and two men are injured following a crash that involved a Pinellas Suncoast Transit Authority (PSTA) bus.

The Florida Highway Patrol said this happened after 8:30 p.m. Saturday when a PSTA passenger bus was driving westbound on Roosevelt Boulevard and was stopped at a red traffic light at the intersection of Lake Carillon Drive.

Troopers said the 38-year-old bus driver turned left, despite the red light still on, into the path of a Nissan Armada driven by a 57-year-old Clearwater man going eastbound and crashed into each other…
