MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — A holiday pet adoption event in Mobile helped connect families with dogs just in time for Christmas.

The event, called “Home for the Holidays,” brought adoptable dogs out into the community, making it easier for potential owners to meet them in a relaxed, welcoming environment.
According to Mobile Animal Services Director Robert Bryant, the event on Sunday led to several successful adoptions.
