(WJAR) — Frog and Toad announced Monday it raised over $10,000 for Brown University students affected by the shooting.
The popular gift shop had been selling shirts and hoodies with the words that read “Hope, Power, Friendship, Providence” to help those impacted by the campus shooting that killed two and injured nine others on Dec. 13.
“We’re just heartbroken and pretty crushed by everything, It’s just been a very difficult stretch,” Asher Schofield, the owner of Frog and Toad, told NBC 10 News last week. “So we wanted to do something rather then nothing, so our team came up with a vision and came up with an appropriate design and get it into production as soon as possible.”
The funds that were raised from the sale of those shirts and hoodies are going directly towards a student emergency support fund at Brown University…
