LUBBOCK, Texas— The Lubbock Police Department’s major Crash Unit is investigating a collision in central Lubbock that left one person dead.

According to LPD, authorities were called to the 5600 block of Spur 327 at 6:55 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 22, for a report of a collision with injuries. When officers arrived on scene, they located Morton Saenz, 43, with serious injuries.
He was then transported to University Medical Center via ambulance, where he was later pronounced deceased…
