Holiday shopping at the Maplewood Mall was disrupted Monday when a gas leak triggered a brief evacuation.
Maplewood Public Safety said fire crews responded to a report of a natural gas odor at the mall around 2 p.m. and discovered the leak.
“Fire crews along with Xcel Energy were able to promptly identify and isolate the gas leak,” the agency shared.
