A man who broke into his ex-girlfriend’s home, grabbed a kitchen knife and threatened to kill police was arrested late Monday night following a five-hour standoff in north Wichita, police said.
The man ran out the back of the home in the 1700 block of North Waco and was arrested after a foot chase with police and a K-9, police said.
He was arrested just after 11:40 p.m. The incident started at 6:18 p.m. after the woman arrived at her home with her 3-month-old baby and found the man inside. The man grabbed a knife from the kitchen, told her to call police, and that he would kill them, police spokesperson Andrew Ford said…
