Salt Lake City, UT – Travelers heading into Utah’s high country this week should prepare for winter driving conditions as snow and strong winds develop across multiple mountain regions beginning Wednesday.

According to the National Weather Service in Salt Lake City, a Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for the Southern Mountains, including Brian Head and Alton, from 5 a.m. Wednesday through 11 p.m. Thursday for elevations above 8,500 feet.
