MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Two men were arrested in connection with a deadly shooting at a Christmas party that stemmed from an argument in East Memphis Saturday night, according to Memphis Police.
Anthony Mason, 21, was charged with unlawful possession of a firearm and possession of a controlled substance. And Xavier Brown, 22, was charged with possession of a handgun while under the influence.
Memphis Police responded to a shooting call in the 200 block of Grove Dale Street at a short-term rental property around 11:20 p.m.
Police said a male victim was found at the scene suffering from a gunshot wound. He was then taken to the hospital, where he later died.
