ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — A man is facing charges after gunfire on Dayton Street Sunday evening.
Rochester police investigated the area around 8 p.m. after reports of shots being fired. According to authorities, evidence of gunfire was found, but nothing was struck. Officers were told a white Jeep Liberty was involved.
Officers were then led to Portland Avenue, where the suspected vehicle was stopped around 9:15 p.m. A loaded handgun was found in the vehicle. Police said the driver, 48-year-old Bruce Clark, wasn’t allowed to possess guns due to seven previous criminal convictions…
